Shoots for bjork but doesn't quite make it. Twigs definitely pushes this style of alternative club music into new and interesting directions but doesn't quite capitalize of fully realize the fascinating aesthetics of this album. (Which is kind of ironic given the themes). All the songs are actually pretty great, but compared to their music video accompaniment frankly they kind of pale. Every bit of this albums rollout was insane and the visuals and ethos of it is so great. But there is just something missing from the music itself that would make it truly shine as something really special. The production just doesn't go far enough and mostly is just interesting quality alternative club and dance. While I still like the album a lot I can't say I wasn't disappointed. I guess I was looking for Caprisongs plus M3LL155X but mostly just got watered down brat

Edit: (75 -> 82): The highlights are pretty incredible and the writing is Very good. Drums of Death goes so disgustingly hard. Room of Fools is so good, Sticky has the writing, Striptease is one of her best ever in every way like that song is just something else. And many of her best vocals to date as well
