This album had to grow on me. After the amazing body of work that is Currents, I had tremendously high expectations. Since my first listen, my opinion has only gone up. While I don't find myself going back to it as much as Currents, I still think it's an incredible project. Also, please see him live. It changed my life.
I will admire Kevin Parker's work for the rest of my life. This album has only gotten better with age. I find myself constantly going back to visit Currents and remembering just how much I adore this production.
My favorite album of 2023. I had to sit with this album for a long time, but I personally have no skips. Growing up with Paramore and seeing how they've grown is so impressive. My only regret was not seeing them on tour for this album.
One of my favorite albums of 2023. There's clearly so much talent in the studio with Phoebe, Julien, and Lucy. Seeing this album live really raised my rating as well. If you haven't gotten to see them, it's definitely worth it.
