not as good as their previous album but still enjoyable

how the fuck does isle of her have a 66 rating, best fucking song in the entire album damn

i really dont like the approach in the first part, the microtones sounds very off, almost sounding like they are playing the wrong scale. i understand that some people like it, but its definitely not my cup of tea.

but the last 3 tracks sounds SO FUCKING AWESOME, it's like a King Gizz microtonal album with more math rock embedded into it.

Amazing Album.

Herbie's 70s style is there: groovy basslines, synths, funky af. But I think what people seem to overlook here is the aspect of Rock influence inside the album. While in other albums the guitar is almost played like a Bass with Wah Wah Watson, the guitar here sounds very different, with a lot of Blues/Rock influence, giving this album a very Jazz Rock feeling.

A must listen for any Fusion and Funk fans.
