imagine cutting down one of your best songs to make it “radio friendly” and because a lot of your fans are parasocial losers
more unapologetically theatrical and operatic than the black parade, alongside an absolutely gorgeous soundscape. the demo album takes a bit of a dip in the second half, but with some fine tuning and cutting this definitely could have been their magnum opus.

first and foremost, i am EXTREMELY biased. this band has shaped my life and who i am altogether and no one is changing that. as corny as it is, this music is my home.
i was cautiously optimistic as the contract released. it’s not say it wasn’t a good song, it just felt lackluster structurally and lyrically. time passed and drum show rolls around. the track became an instant all-timer as it essentially felt like a sibling to next semester. i was more excited than ever.
