While nothing on this record is offensively bad, nothing really sticks out all that well and grabs your attention. I think the problem with The King of Limbs is just a simple lack of direction of where to go after In Rainbows. So they took a drastic turn, a la albums like OK Computer and Kid A, but the style they went for left a lot to be desired. Nearly every track on The King of Limbs feels like a demo of a song that, if finished, would sound excellent. It's not a lost product by any ... read more

There's not a single moment on this album I'd consider slow or boring, every part on this album is the epitome of a bop. It manages to be a mixture of really fun moments, such as on tracks like Us v Them and Get Innocuous! and also more serious themes and messages. I've been harsh on Amnesiac in the past, but upon relistening it turns out there are some excellent tracks here. But in exchange for those high points, Amnesiac has some of the worst Radiohead songs of all time. Hunting Bears overall is just absolutely awful, and Morning Bell feels like a knockoff rehash of an excellent track off a way better album. The closer, Life In A Glasshouse, is a fantastic song and an excellent way to end things. It feels like making a follow-up to Kid A had so much ... read more
