XTC presents easily their finest work to date with the production magic from the mad genius Todd Rundgren who always excites me whenever I see his name. We got some authentic psychedelic throwbacks with a modern feel especially for 1986. It's a welcome surprise to finally have an album from these cats that I have thoroughly enjoyed with its variety and experiments throughout the 45 minute runtime. Everything works together so well and makes for a very satisfying listen. It's so good and is easily amongst the frontrunners for 1986 AOTY! Great stuff, highly recommend you check this out!
