Wakes up to the news that nobody with even a single brain cell wanted to see.

I guess I will enjoy these last few months of RELATIVE normality the best I can. I thought 2025 was going to be the year that we actually as a society start to work towards a better future with us finally leaving behind our dark past of racism and misogyny behind with our first minority female president. But apparently I thought to highly of us. I didn't know just how pathetic, apathetic, ignorant as well as the two things I mentioned before American voter really are.
This was the most strikingly important election in a long time and we just simply fumbled the ball.
I just can't.
