The first track showed promise, but it never came unfortunately. An ok experimental post rock but at least for me it's attempts of profoundness fail to land.
Despite his efforts this release from Sting didn't spark much interest out of me.
The instrumental tracks are good but the ones with vocals scream cheesy 80's and not the good kind.

A gorgeous New Wave Progressive Electronic release! Adored everything from the second track onwards!
Casiopea returns with more of their classic jazz fusion offerings. Not the best or most inventive stuff I have heard from the genre, but it's nice to take comfort that you will know that you're listening to quality music.

What a hidden gem of a progressive soul album from the golden era of the genre. Only thing more impressive than the talent shown here is the fact that it was recorded in a PRISON! It has Stevie Wonder and @mattie_voojs stamps of approval already so with mine being added to the pile isn't just me being biased. Cause DAMN does this deserve so much more attention and love! Excellent excellent music with a fantastic voice to go along with it. It goes without saying, but I highly recommend you ... read more
Enjoyed the first couple tracks, but then it started blending together. A decent enough listen overall.
TMOI offers an interesting live album full of inventive abstract ideas that sometimes connects sometimes leave me scratching my head.

Not to bad of a follow up of the debut that blew them into the mainstream. Doesn't quite have the same magic, but there's still some classic sunshine pop to enjoy here regardless.

Zong offers a cute little bitpop release that has excellent instrumentation but I just can't get past the distorted vocals. I can see them as charming for some, but they just don't land for me like the instrumental does.
This start off pretty solidly then gets a bit too gimmicky for my personal taste. It has potential but I prefer a more focused product.

You simply can't go wrong with blues rock. A killer Hendrix cover also helps but still it didn't need the guitar god's blessing to make this a fantastic release!
