Dub 1 was decent but didn't grab me. Dub 2 is a lot more like it. Cool dreamy club track that one is.
A pretty solid slacker rock release though I more enjoyed the lofi elements of the experience just as much.

Nu Metal.
The unique, brash, infamous, controversial and outstandingly successful subgenre full of angst, anger, fear, hate, and bangers as well as disturbers when it's done right is quite the experience for uninitiated. This Debut from the band that started it all really sets the standard blueprint for the genre that will be built off of and dismantled for the next decade with its signature sound. The vocals and instrumental is unhinged yet distinct and surprisingly groovy at times. ... read more

Don't mind me. I'm just floating away into the nostalgia of the 90's impression of an optimistic future as the world falls apart around me. Just another Wednesday in 2024.
Phenomenal sonic experience, it's going to be hard to top for my favorite effort of 94.
A month and a half ago I listened to Kylie's latest couple of works and found them to be decent to good listens from the veteran. Today I have the pleasure of listening to something from her prime and again it's a solid listen with some funky dance bangers, pleasurable ballads and just good vocals from Kylie throughout.

I am usually pretty indifferent to the madness that is death metal, but this one leaves a sour taste for me. I guess it's due the EXTREME levels of Edge veering beyond ridiculousness that I am split between wondering why do I even bother, confused in general with what I am listening to and it's appeal, and just hating on the music. This genre of metal is definitely not for me from the numbing growling to the over exuberant instrumentation that is muffled leaving zero impact to their ... read more

Side note it's interesting looking back at my review of LP5 that was recommended to me way back in the early days of me being on this site. It's apparent that I was not ready for this kind of music yet, so I am looking forward to listening to it again when it's time and see how my impressions has changed after all this time and all of the music I have been exposed ... read more
Well this was a thrilling journey full of chaotic punky progressive experimental energy. Very dynamic shit with a lot of ideas happening in rapid succession that will send you into a whiplash if you don't hold on tight. Very enjoyable stuff throughout this experience highly recommend you check it out if you like Cardiacs, Mr. Bungle, and a YouTube comment even compared this to the recent acclaimed and unfortunately broken up Black Midi. So yeah, if this tickles your curiosity then ... read more
