Iridescence is a very sonically diverse, beautifully crafted BROCKHAMPTON album. It switches seamlessly from unspeakably hard to soft and mellow and has you sitting on the edge of your seat throughout the whole thing.
There are fantastic instrumentals that are a step up from saturation, and the members are still providing quality verses throughout the album.
This is not saturation, but it is something a little more focused, and it just works so well.
I think a lot of people are disappointed in this album because they want Mac DeMarco to evolve his sound even further, and at first glance this album kind of seems like a standard Mac DeMarco album without much experimentation.
But I think that's a bit narrow minded, because I think is album is fantastic. It is an ambient, very relaxing and a little weird album.
