I’m speechless. As I write this I’m literally crying because of how good this album is. Everything about this album is top notch. These are the best lyrics, vocals, and instrumentals of her entire career up to this point. And the way the flawless production is uniting them to create this one-of-a-kind masterpiece. So intimate. My favorite album of hers so far.
Damn this was weird (in a good way). Very energetic and captivating. There’s a lot going on in this album, with each listen you find something new to appreciate about it. Def worth a listen
Before listening to this I thought all soviet music was boring and political, god was I wrong. Soviet/Russian icon Alla Pugacheva’s debut album is a enchanting art pop fusion of pop, rock and jazz influences, accompanied by beautiful and strong vocals. Listening to this was such an experience, such a diverse and gorgeous LP.
Also it’s very much Kate Bush vibes.

gets a little bit boring bc only 4 singles were remixed, but did it again remixes, especially the Trouser Enthusiasts' Goddess of Contortion Mix, are immaculate and energetic pieces of prog trance
there’s nothing exciting about this album, it’s just monotone and boring
oh my god this sounds so aged. yeah it probably sounded mind-blowing when this was released but... now this album just sounds like it's trying so hard to be conceptual and "not like the others". ofc there are some moments that deserve yours attention, like "The Great Gig in the Sky" and "Us and Them", but almost everything else just sounds dull, obnoxious and bland. yes, you may say "this album is so influential! it changed music back then!" IDGAF!!! ... read more
I found the album really calming, nostalgic, joyful, summery and beautiful. some very gorgeous melodies here, specifically on tracks 5, 6, 10, 13. love it
