Far Beyond Driven

Another really strong project from Pantera. Although maybe not as consistent as VDoP or TGST, it reaches similar highs and has some genuinely great moments. There's some really cool and complex riffs on here, and the energy is insane throughout. The closer, even though its really an entirely different sound from the rest of the album, is also great and works extremely well to me. Unfortunately, nearly every track has some aspect of it that feels slightly weaker than the rest, which all add together in the end to lower the enjoyment of the whole project; I often caught myself thinking "this is great, but i wish ____ was done differently/better", which led to some slightly disappointing moments on the album. Still a great project, just not quite as good as their other ventures.
