asami kado has been known for her colorful musical palette, in genres and her songwriting. this album is no different, it was her first step into her techno pop period of her incredible catalogue. but that would turn into a more 'experimental' tone in her next album Belladonna, as 'u ra ra' still has that soft atmosphere her previous new music era works had while adding some new wave elements there and there.
while this wasnt the first step into synthpop for hiromi, diamant (giyaman) was her first time of change in sound for her career. it goes slightly into leftfield part of music however it still has that spirit her previous albums had. its a solid enough album with some slower pacing tracks and some quite more energetic, such as the 8th track called 'Fashion Model' in english translation.
