Coco's soundtrack is just beautiful implementing mariachi, bolero, and ranchera. It did amazing when showing Mexican heritage.
Albums such as these is what makes me dislike pop sometimes. This was a flop in comparison to Short n' Sweet, which wasn't the best album either, but not as bad as this. I have enjoyed Sabrina's music, but after Short n' Sweet, I am getting tired of the sexual innuendos. Reggaetón is simple most of the time, so I like how this one was. This was my first album of Paloma's and I am satisfied. I am looking forward to her future work, and I will be sure to check out her previous work whenever I get the chance.
A beautiful album. Bad Bunny implements rap and reggaeton but gets traditional with the inclusion of bomba y plena, salsa and jíbaro, adding in references to Puerto Rican culture, going as far back as mentioning our indigenous tribe, the taíno. I don't know any other album that dives deeply into Puerto Rican heritage, that talks openly about political issues, and who does so much to protect la isla as much as this album does.
