I don't think I can rate this. Its so hard. For now I'll just do the average but I don't know. No number feels right. It being lower discredits the amazing songs. It being higher credits the horrific Jack And Gill. Being in between is a disservice as remove that song and its on the level of the other two. Is one song really gonna weigh it down that much? First two songs are detailed, deep, and bold shoegaze songs that feature beautiful vocals, exciting guitar progression, beautiful tones, and lengthy runtimes that are well worth each minute of listening. The last 2 songs are walls of sound with boring structures that manage to bore me out of my mind and be the first bad songs from Tokyo Shoegazer I've heard. Sad day.

Half and half. Some songs are exciting beats that manage to be hard hitting boom bap yet detailed and lush sounding. The rest fails to break character and ends up lacking exciting elements making it worth returning to.
Im currently challenging myself to go through Westside Gunns whole discography. 24 projects deep and the fatigue is hitting now. This album is him in his early form and certainly better flows than today, more mic presence as nowadays he takes more of a curator position. But everything else is multiple steps down than modern Gunn. Bars are clever but nothing like current day.
