I feel like i'm sitting next to the ocean listening to people write down bars and shoot the shit. its one of the most immersive projects i've ever listened to. This is the first thing i'm going to play on my yacht; y'know, when I get one.

This feels like a band trying to conform to gain success when they would end up being much more memorable doing something outside the box. On songs like Creep and Anyone can play Guitar you can hear the more experimental side of the album working to become the most memorable: however, a lot is just surrounded by more contemporary like Thinkin About You or Can't which fall flat in comparison. this feels like two different visions, trying to break away and trying to conform. Dire Straits move incredibly well on their debut album, hopefully leaving much on the table for more experimentation, Sultans of Swing and Lions being the biggest highlights

Anyone who even midly dislikes this album is not to be trusted; it is a psyop, do not listen to them. Just feel the endless sorrow and rememory the album expertly delivers across every song
Every song works together to bring THE J.Cole album. Every song feel like it was constructed with both Kanye and Nas in mind, and I don't think he let either of them down
