Cute and sweet sounding album with really innocent lyrics. Comforting listen. I wish the vocals were a little better but I guess they give the album its charm. The instrumentals reminds me a lot of kitchen/the loner(s) or dandelion hands.

I hate to say that I'm disappointed since I love a lot of teen suicide's earlier work, but it's the only word i can find to describe how i feel towards this album.
The whole album sounds bland and generic to me, the instrumentals of this album had me excited because they had potential but i dislike the lyricism and vocals. Instrumentally the album is nothing extraordinary, which is understandable considering Jay was a beginner guitarist when he started working on this album. It's a respectable effort though. Same goes for the vocals. I often like raw sounding vocals but I'm not too big on the raw vocals here, maybe because they're very underdeveloped.

Jokes aside I really love this album. The lyrics are blunt and uncomfortable but they're well written. I can't help but get reminded of 14 year old me when i listen to this, the songs closely resemble him.
