Duh OME & Kenny Segal back in the studio!!
ちょっと電子的な？要素が入ったファンクで、かなり楽しい。ただ、ファンク好きの自分としては、アルバムの終盤あたりにファンクの要素が薄まって、電子的な部分が全面に出る流れに乗り切れなかったかな。それでも十分楽しめたけど！
5月末に久しぶりに聴き直したら、そこからすっかり夢中になって、わたしのお気に入りの音楽プロジェクトのひとつになった！どの曲も決して弱くならないまま、2000年代をアイコニックに体現して最初から最後まで駆け抜ける。Happy Pride Month 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
1曲目のLança Perfumeがすごく好きだったんだけど、アルバムを通して、トーンとか盛り上がり方が一定すぎる感じがして、35分しかないのに最後の方では集中が切れてしまった。でも楽しいアルバムであることには変わりないし、また聴き直したい。

“real rap is back”的な雰囲気には自分と合わない部分があったけど、素晴らしいJazz Rapプロダクションと、CK The Spittaのまともなパフォーマンスは十分楽しかった。特に序盤が良かったかな。
ただ、

みたいな歌詞が ‘Amazing lyrics’って呼ばれるのはちょっと面白いかもね。

なにか詳しいレビュー書こうと思って何回か聴いたけど、結局詳しいことはなにもわからないから、これだけは言おうと思う、Erroll Garnerのピアノが好き。やさしい！！
あ、でも、前聴いたアルバムでは軽快さの中に迫力を感じたけど、このアルバムはその方向にはいってないように聴こえる。あたたかさ満点！って感じかな。
良いプロジェクト！落ち着いた、あたたかい曲がアルバム全体で聴けて、早く起きた朝にぴったりだと思う。随所にあるミシガン湖のリファレンスも好きだった。最近気づいたけど、誰かが特定の場所にいる、ってことを感じられる作品が自分の好みみたい。

"Before I seriously started listening to hip-hop, Eminem was one of the few rappers I listened to("Kill Shot", "Godzilla", "Rap God" ……etc). I remember thinking they were cool and kind of thought he was the best rapper ever. But I hadn’t even listened to any other rappers back then. Looking back now, I feel like that’s exactly how Eminem gets praised these days. I didn’t live through his prime as a teenager either, but maybe that’s why I can look at his career more objectively. Anyway, it got long, but one last thing ……I listened to Rav’s "My Time (An Optimistic Rebuttal)", and it’s so cool!"

"They look down on Black people but are super minority Asians who themselves get excluded by white supremacy. I don’t think Eminem lacks influence (as you said, he’s influenced Tyler and Kendrick), but when I focus on rappers’ "influence", I look at the rappers who were most influenced by them. Like Nas influencing Lupe or Lil Wayne influencing JID, that’s amazing. But when it comes to rappers who call Eminem their “biggest influence", none of them seem to be top tier rappers like that."

Some Japanese people strangely have this sort of white supremacy mindset (like getting mad when a brown skinned actor is cast as the lead in a live action Snow White movie). I feel this same vibe from people who want to call Eminem the best rapper. And honestly, I think that’s super dumb."
