this record is a far cry from brat, and a somewhat return to form for Charli. Every track is full of swells from synths and live instruments. I feel like im in a tortured doll house overhanging a cliffside along the ocean. This space feels romantic yet choking. thank you Charli for always doing something different with your music and your art

this album is worth more than the sum of its parts. Darklight is a record that isn't for everyone. I found the first half to sound a lot like a Mike record that was produced by Jpegmafia and Iglooghost, but the later half was so incredibly interesting. fans of Telfon Tel Aviv, Sweet Trip, and Quadeca's latest record will love the last bit of this record. the textures and sound scapes presented here feel amateur yet so full of love and life.
