About as good as this kind of project gets for me. Eclectic and weird, it's just a cool collection of ideas. The production is varied and interesting throughout. There is a tiny bit of cohesion in the first and second halves, but not much - that probably comes with the format. The best parts of this release are the explorations into new directions. Most of the tracks feature interesting arrangement and more diverse songwriting than their previous works. The lean into degraded synths and effects definitely feels like the group is settling into and refining their fundamentals, but the sampling work on songs like Dummo Loop and Satin Cash is what creates a really unique sound. I hope this is only the beginning for Wavedash's artistry.
