this is pure perfection
honestly this is insanely good… i haven’t listened to music this good in a long time. from the moment the first track, rochelle jordan’s through the wall, started, it just clicked. it really feels like a timeless project. enjoyed every second from start to finish; the lyrics, production, presentation… all top notch

it really sucks that this album got removed from streaming platforms. i consider myself one of the few lizzo fans, i’ve been listening to and loving her music for a long time. bgsw was probably her most personal project and my favorite. it’s a shame she removed it without any explanation.

The album creates a whole aesthetic. More than just the sounds or lyrics, it’s the atmosphere that stays with you. It sticks to its own unique style throughout, and the production and lyrics might surprise you with their quailty and deepness. Definitely worth a listen.

While shaping one of the cornerstones of experimental pop, it also manages to preserve Twigs's unique sound. There’s a lot going on in this album. Even if it’s not exactly your taste, if you're a music geek, you won’t walk away from the experience feeling disappointed. Definitely worth a listen.

Beyoncé - Lemonade

Beyoncé tells us the story of what she went through after the huge betrayal by her husband, the father of her child, through this album. It’s the musical embodiment of a deeply personal and autobiographical reckoning.

The album opens with Pray You Catch Me, immediately touching on the theme of betrayal that runs ... read more

This is a pretty solid album. It’s super diverse, and every track stands out in its own unique way. Truth Hurts gives you a real taste of hip hop, while Lingerie leans into R&B with rich electric guitar layers. Then you’ve got tracks like Like A Girl and Soulmate delivering amazing pop moments.

Lizzo’s rap background really shines through on a lot of the songs. She takes what could be a standard pop track and turns it into something way more dynamic and original. ... read more

Kesha - .

While this album isn’t exactly a masterpiece overall, it does contain a few standout tracks like Delisuonal, Joyride, The One, and Cathedral. Aside from those, Yipppe-ki-yay and Boy Crazy are also worth mentioning. But for the rest of the tracklist, "album filler" feels like a pretty accurate description.

The album kicks off with Freedom, which has a relatively intriguing intro, but it quickly loses its spark once the intro ends. Outside of the four best songs I mentioned, most ... read more
