not ground breaking but definitely a good time

the production here is amazing! I love the unapologetically loud instruments and even when the maximalism takes a little break in songs like GA$ $TATION and UNKNOWN LOVERZ, the general sound remains cohesive and consistent, managing to maintain a nice equilibrium. I do think the lyrics had potential to be a bit more clever, but there aren't really moments that took me out of electro sleazy vibe$

the fact that the best song here is jump is honestly concerning

the singles are good. everything else is just what you would expect from a 5sos album: safe, superficial, sometimes fun, sometimes boring.
