Lil B - Red Flame
90

Have been an avid listener of Lil B for many years, And to grace my ears, I wanted to revist one of my favorite mixtapes ever. This is still a great project, even with some dated production. His charismatic rapping carries some of those shortcomings of the production. Even then, the tracks still have a lot of charm like "Robberversiary" or "DopeGame Money". Then his more serious tracks are even better like "Eternal Burning". There some duds on here due to it just ... read more

Ice Spice - Y2K!

This is a complete disaster and disappointment of an album. Not one likeable track. Only cheap imitations of NIcki songs with dogshit production and multitude of pee pee poo poo bars. Just listen to Megan or Latto if you want something way better in this style. Now I need to cleanse my ears again. Also fuck that Central Cee verse

"Best" Track: Oh Shhh... (Only Travis Verse)

Worst Track: Everything Else

NewDad - MADRA

I had listen to this album about 3 times since my first listen in April. The album just get better with every listen. Songs that weren't memorable from former listens now become standouts. From the beautiful dreamy instrumentation and to the soft but amazing voice. This album became one of favorites from this year. Only complaint is that wish some songs like "Let Go" have more of unique progression. Cause It kind of seem repetitive. But that's merely it, Songs like ... read more

Eminem - The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)

This album is such a mix bag. In one side, I understand the concept of the album and there's some songs that play into very well. For example, "Guilty Conscience 2" and maybe "Antichrist". But like damn. . . Where is the quality music. It's start off with an amazing opening that bring back that Slim Shady sound in a modern way. The only issue is that it was too short. Then it just get shit afterward. Habits and Brand New Dance are such a drag to get through. Evil ... read more

Ahhhhh, One of the best pop albums to come out this decade. Almost every song is a banger. Just a very few songs some didn't catch my attention compared to the major highlights off the record. But they're still amazing

Thank you Peggy for cleansing my ears. Some songs are difficult to grasp but the overall album is pretty neat. Also Buzzy Lee killed it on her feature.

I'm a massive Kanye fan and have enjoyed every album that he put out (exc. Donda 2). So I was excited for this album but after listening to this album around 3-4 times. My enjoyment decrease in each listen. The novelty of it being a new Kanye album quickly fades away to reveal a shallow form of what used to be such an amazing artist. There are some songs that shows some potential but falls short with either repulsive lyrics or horrid production. This includes some of his worst rapping and music ... read more

Kendrick Lamar - Overly Dedicated

This is such an underappreciated tape compared to the other projects in his discography. I still can't believe that this tape have such a mixed reception. Even though there still so many tracks that still hold up till this day. Tracks like Average Joe and H.O.C., and Barbed Wire features some of the best rapping that Kendrick put out. Even some of the weaker tracks like Michael Jordan still contain good aspects to them. The only complaint is that there are some tracks that didn't left much of ... read more
