This album blew my expectations coming from Optimist, and I thoroughly enjoyed his songwriting efforts this time well and the more intriguing musical elements of this LP. Songs all seem very authentic and are beautiful to say the least, though it is evident that FINNEAS excels as a producer, so I think working with a band actually limited his creative ability on this album.
