My favorite song ever for sure, actual perfection in music form
We Built This City sounds so good when u ain’t got a bitch in ya ear telling you it’s the worst song ever
I though about lowering my score, but nah. This album singlehandedly made me start to understand and love post-punk, and even though it's not my favorite, it is the one that left the biggest impression on me.
Sujeito De Sorte carried me through the pandemic, surprised I've never listened to the full album until recently. Well, it's fantastic.
Maybe it's the fact this song didn't play that much over here, maybe I'm just a sucker for this type of vibe. Either way, I don't really hate this song.
The lyrics are still meh and everything else that isn't the chorus of the song is not very good, but it's listenable.
I happened to stumble upon Kino when I first started to learn about Russia in more detail (I've been learning Russian for some time now), and I've never been happier. This album is just fantastic, even though it is unfinished.
"If God sang, he would sing with the voice of Milton Nascimento." -Elis Regina
The vocals, the guitar, the progression, everything in this album works so perfectly it's scary.
