Amazing. Another beautiful, lush-sounding, breezy indie/pop record by the goat.

Some amazing spacy ambient songs on here. Unfortunately, the tracks with joyful tones, especially the ones with guitar in them felt completely out of place. The first half on the record indicated that it was on the way to being one of my favorite ambient albums ever, but the switch up in tone really threw me off. Not the say that the guitar tracks were "bad", just out of place.

I became aware of Ocoeur a little under 2 years ago with some of his work off of Connections and Everything. This is the first album that he has dropped since I've discovered his music and it was a really interesting listen. This album is very versatile with tracks ranging from soundtrack-style & ambient to IDM. This is my introduction to Mick Jenkins. I like his consistent ability to catch unique flows, it makes almost all of the songs on this record at least a little bit enjoyable. I wish he had this same consistency with his song writing. The occasional clever bar is nice but most of these songs aren't really that engaging lyrically. The lyrics in ROY G. My first Aphex Twin drop as an Aphex Twin fan. The drums in the first track are mental. Overall, it provided for a nice 14 minutes of deep listening, as normally required with Richard's music.
