Doolittle might be my favorite album of all time, so I have a lot to say.
This album is fucking amazing, coming after Surfer Rosa (their first studio album) is a hard thing to do, but they (the entire band) smashed it out of the water.
Everything somehow sounds both cleaner, and more messy than that first album.
The first 8 songs on here are all consistently amazing
Debaser
Tame
Wave of Mutilation
I Bleed
Here Comes Your Man (my 2nd favorite on this album)
Dead
Monkey Gone to Heaven

The album that would change rock music forever
I'm going to start this review by saying: Doolittle (Pixies' second album) is one of my favorite albums of all time, so I may have a bit of a bias. Anyway, a lot of people think that Surfer Rosa is better than Doolittle. Part of me wonders if those people just heard Where Is My Mind, and didn't listen to the rest of the album. (I'll come back for a proper review later)
This album has a special spot in my heart.
Weezer was and still might be my favorite band of all time, and this is definitely my favorite of their albums.
I was a little scared to write a review on this because I feel like I have so much to say, but I think I'll give it a go.
I don't think I've heard a more emotionally broken album in my entire life.
Rivers is fucking going through it.
While most rock stars yell and scream in their albums, Rivers yells come out as cries for ... read more
