No joke, I laughed out loud at Goodnite, Dr. Death.
This album is so cheesy
Really underrated album right here.
(MIGHT) like it more than Parklife.
Favorites: Stereotypes, Country House, Best Days, Charmless Man, Fade Away, The Universal, He Thought of Cars.
Hot take to say this is worse than their first album? Not by a lot but to me this is definitely not quite as good.
Favorites: Wonderwall, Don't Look Back in Anger, Champagne Supernova
Randomly stumbled upon Urine Speaks Louder Than Words, so I thought I'd listen to the album it came from.
Folk Punk is such a cool genre, can't believe it took me this long to discover it.
This album is a really tight 29 minute experience, and having a pretty consistant sound of Acoustic/Electric guitars, drums, and the rare hormonica. The vocals sometimes can border on ear peircing.
Record Store Day Pick Ups: Part 1
This album has a pretty stacked track listing. My only complaint is that it would have been nice to give Trompe Le Monde some love, but with the theme of this live show being a more stripped-back acoustic style, I can understand why they are not present. This is also the reason that the Come On Pilgrim tracks are the strongest, as they most heavily rely on this sound.

I listened to this for the first time last night, but I was way too tired to write a review.
I'm pretty disappointed she didn't continue in the Pop-Punk / Pop Rock direction of her last album and instead made a synth-pop style song. She doesn't do a bad job though, so I can't be that upset.
Lyrics are about what you'd expect, overall a solid enough single for the 2026 Pop star.
I was recommended to listen to these guys by... well, everyone.
My three favorite music YouTubers all have nothing but praise for them: Elliot Roberts, Giggens, and Abigail Devoe
Even fuckass Fantano gave this album a high score.
So maybe my expectations were a bit high lol
Favorites: When Winter Comes Around, In My Head, What Happens To A Heart
Sounds like Teenage Dirtbag but worse and sung by a girl.
It sounds like she is trying to emulate a Punk sound without fully committing to the bit.
She's hot as shit, though, so that helps.
Wow.
really, really good. I can't believe I've never heard of this dude or any of the music he made.
Will definitely be giving this a few more listens and maybe changing my rating.
I was thinking I was going to like this a lot more than I did based on the first two tracks, after that it falls off quite a bit.
Even the higher rated tracks I wasn't super into.
Favorites: Mother, Hold On
This is the last Pixies album left for me to review.
And WOW it should not have been this much of a slog, but it has been.
I absolutely adore the first four Pixies albums, but everything after is just so, so unbelievably boring.
After finishing Doolittle, I remember thinking "Oh my God that was so good, I can't wait to listen to Bossanova"
And then after finishing Bossanova I thought "Bossanova sounded so wildly different from Doolittle, can't wait to listen to Trompe ... read more
Very much looking forward to whatever she makes next
I thought about writing a really good review dissecting why I like these songs, but no one is going to take this review seriously. So this is what you get
