In my in humble, esteemed opinion, this is Eurythmics most underrated album of their 80's ouvre. Is it the Bolivian marching powder used to the highest creative degree? Heaven knows. From the off-kilter, expectation defying beginning to the gospel fused ending -it is a tour de force. My discovery of this record when I was fifteen cripples any dispassionate view. Having said that, let this one day be recognized as an exercise in expansive genre meddling.
