I love the so-called injection of the air into the esophagus.

Sounds like the soundtrack for a Cristopher Nolan movie about insects.
It's even more listenable than Plastic Anniversary despite this and that is quite a feat.

I did not expect to see a boring album from Poppy of all people.
The production and writing felt a little underbaked for the singles, but the rest is either unremarkable or embarassing.

Interesting, experimental and beautiful all around.
The only track I didn't enjoy as much was The Mask Cracks.

I never really liked brostep or most of the stuff released by Monstercat, but Overkill intrigued me since it's auditory coffeine and switches things up a lot.

The rest of the album is unfortunately not as interesting. It's just formulaic brostep and interludes. I could still get something out of them, but if I can recognize samples I used in 2016 when making the worst attempt at making dubstep known to man it's a bad sign.
It helps that it's so short.

Mr. Oizo takes his mantra of sounds never overstaying their welcome to the next level with the most outlandish and fun one's.
This is what got me into French Electro and still remains my most scrobbled album on last.fm.
