I think the name of this EP captures the vibe of this project so well. It feels like taking your partner by the hand and just running away. Running away from all the noise just to experience falling in love with them again. Mary jane was my first exposure to Orion sun and her beautifully creative lyrics. This project couples that with production that feels so intimate, every part of every song is thought out and cared for. New instruments that cradle her voice and fill gaps in the composition ... read more
Oh Carti where do i start. Your music was my first love, my sustenance, my motivation. You took your time and gave us something that was worth the wait. Hell I would have waited 10 years for this album. From now on my life will be separated from before Carti's music album (BC) and after drop (AD). This marks a new beginning a new chapter in all (YES ALL INCLUDING YOU) our lives. Thank you for dropping this absolute masterclass of human innovation into all our undeserving lives.
This is a very nice "filler" EP by Yeat. While nothing groundbreaking or insane, yeat shows us that he is still able to keep up the mainstream attention he has gathered over the 2 years. Yeat also starts to subtly experiment on this track, songs like "Can't stop" and ... read more
INSANE album. This is the album that really blew yeat up and launched him into the mainstream. I think the thing that helped him blow up the most in this album is taking Alive and toning it down while refining his rhythm and adlibs. He really focused on adlibs in this album and a great improvement can be found between 4L and Alive. He sounds more confident in his vocals and is ok with staying back and letting the beat do the talking sometimes. Other than the insane amount of improvement that ... read more
One Word: Replayability. Although the the album doesn't have ideas with the same freshness as 4L or Up 2 Me, yeat dropped a album with insane classics that will be remembered and loved for years. Although this delux is 29 songs long, this album/deluxe has added so many monumental songs to his discography that I think the number of songs are justified. In this album yeat doesn't really experiment with his sound, but that is traded off with sounds that he knows his fans will love. Yeat stuck to ... read more
