I like Phil's early folk stuff, so I decided to give this a chance. honestly this might be the most 1960s album to have ever been made, the baroque pop influences are heavy-handed and stitched together with lush french horn licks. it's definitely overproduced, and the crucifixion is probably my least favorite song on the album. lots of fun though :)
