Halsey's "concept album" has always been, and probably will forever remain, one of the most infamous catchphrases of 2010s mainstream pop, with her studio efforts lacking the songwriting chops necessary to communicate said concepts properly, and the concepts themselves being far from ingenious.

EASILY the most consistently exciting record I've heard all year. This album fucks.
For a moment, forget Aesop Rock exists. When did we last we get a white rap album of this quality? When El-P dropped 'Cancer 4 Cure'? Quadeca finds his footing in continually transmorphing beats, and even though his heartfelt lyricism more often than not comes across as amateurish, 'From Me To You's sincerity and openness to experimentation marks a revitalization for a genre that's been stuck in the gutter for years.
