Feels like theres more variety on the beats here and I appreciate that, Freddie snaps like usual, Larry June was lowkey a highlight and I wasn’t expecting that (ofc jid and paak were peak too), I want more Freddie melodies

listening to the whole album rn and while this def was an unexpected turn I think it’s very important to have songs that let you mellow out and have fun. Bob the poppop said it best, if you only rap about fighting your demons and your skeletons in the closet, serious topics etc, it’ll be less fun over time. Not gonna bring out joy and whimsy but I want more artists that are well respected to have fun, fun isn’t a bad thing

No problems with the verses whatsoever I think my main tinyyy issue is with very little things: Pharrell chorus's are very hit or miss, and obviously he's a great producer but some of the beats on here feel less cohesive than others sometimes. Makes the negative of come on down being on this album less relevant. Wasnt crazy about shoomp and respect at first but my god have they grown on me. Main criticism now is that I wish there was more than 4 instrumentals given and I feel like bigger woulda been a better outro for the bonus tracks than respect

What I’ve been liking about chance’s drops in the last year or so is that I always have had a hard time enjoying his raps cause of his flows, but I’ve been fucking with the new ones a lot. This and stars out especially are so good

This instrumental is GODLYYYY but geez I’m sorry it’s really hard to take drake seriously anytime he talks about people betraying him or him not giving a fuck. Like this applies to anyone even your favorite rapper if they was complaining about everyone betraying them then rebounding in a continuous cycle of “hey im not giving a fuck” then going back to clearly giving one they’d be clowned too.
