a relaxing little lullaby and a great way to start off the album. makes me sleepy, not in a bored way, but a soothing way. almost uncanny how modern the song feels despite being written in the 60s. lyrics are beautiful, i'm unfamiliar with who the lyricist is as this is my first introduction to the band but they're clearly great. singer's voice is heavenly. feels like a slower, angstier beatles song.

a little poppy compared to their old stuff, but not annoyingly so. still has that fall out boy charm. almost reminds me a little of baba o reily what with the piano and the rock opera feel. feels like an amazing turning point into fall out boy's new sound without disregarding their roots. brilliant. patrick killing it with the backing vocals as always.
