Detour by Kim Petras
WOW! I normally am not tapped-in to Kim Petras's new releases, but I figure why not listen to this project since I was familiar with the struggle she had with her label regarding the release of this album. After listening I am so blown away by Kim and I find this sound to be so fitting for her and this new journey she's on. I think everyone was tired of that bimbo/slut persona she had for so long, and to finally see her tapping in to something with slightly more ... read more

In honor of Transgender Day of Visibility, I figure I would share my thoughts here. As a transgender woman, this album is so very important to our existence as a community. It represents our passion, creativity, emotions, and our empowerment. I would absolutely check this project out if you find yourself with some spare time.
