This album is the perfect blend of bangers and lyrical cuts all wrapped up in a cinematic story telling the struggles Kendrick faced in his early years. Highlights: SAMIDOT, M.A.A.D City, and Money Trees. Lowlights: None
Greatest Trap Album of all time. Travis really shines in crafting journeys through these songs, not just with the lyrics but the soundscapes too. He was hungry with this album, this album was personal for him. Never the songs that sound out of place at first grow on you over time. Travis Scott’s best work. Standouts: 90210, Maria I’m Drunk, I Can Tell. Low Points: None. Classic, Masterpeice.
A lot of classic songs for sure, but drunk and hot girls and Barry bonds back to back kills the pace of the album for me. While I stand by that, there might not be a single song under a 8.5 on that album besides that one. Standouts: I Wonder, Big Brother, Everything I am. Weak Spots: Barry Bonds, Drunk and Hot Girls. Hit Rate: 12/14 Mid Rate: 1/14 Skip Rate: 1/14. Classic Album, Masterpeice.
