This is a distinct and remarkable album. I especially enjoyed Oni and I think this album was an experience.
This OST defined my childhood, and I'm sure many other's as well. The sheer volume of nostalgia and bliss I feel from this is overwhelming, and nostalgia aside this is a peaceful and calming soundtrack that you'll always associate with Minecraft. There are also some unused tracks that never made it into the game, like Dog and Key, that I wish were included. What a wonderful OST for an awesome game.
I really, really enjoy this album. An album I can vibe to for 40 minutes and is a prime example of synthwave done right. I'd say my favorite out of all of them is Slow, I loved the starting when the beat came in and all my worries melt away. The amount of lovely retro synth oozing off of this is a delight to my ears. Ill definitely be on the lookout for the cassette of this.
Do you ever listen to something and think it'd fit pleasantly in a supermarket or a mall? That's what I thought of when I listened to Nostalgi Gaius. This is a very relaxed album that I can unwind to and sometimes find myself astray in. I'd say my favorite song above all would be Rest, I found it nice to zone out to and I liked the instrument choice.
