Empty

Filled with atmosphere and emotion, 'Empty' is a step back for Nils Frahm. In contrast to 'All melody's' dynamic electronic textures this is a sparse and almost static piano record, that provides open, spacious textures and feelings of loneliness. While mostly effective, the record still ends up feeling stale and unambitious.
