I'd list this among my five favorite albums ever, it's rather odd that people only attribute immense greatness to 鸽哨, as I find Moon Plate to be on the same level, if not possibly a bit better (quite a hot take, I think). I haven't listened to much BCNR, I confess, this is the only album of theirs I've heard. It is, in my eyes, rather overrated. Don't get me wrong; I enjoyed it, a good deal, in fact, and Basketball Shoes is up there with stuff like Vanisher, Horizon Scraper and The New Sound, but the rest of the album, for me, just didn't match up to some of the other really good recent shit.
