My fourth review: IGOR [Tyler, The Creator] [92/100]

Probably the greatest match of R&B and hip-hop, Tyler brings such a new wave in a way that subverts the genre. His lyricism is immaculate and one of the most out of pocket and interesting stories of romance that mixes pain with rage. The production may feel overwhelmed sometimes and even noisy, but it's one of the most passive agressive and beautiful selection of beats. Tyler's flow and voice are kind of weak at some points, but his ... read more

My third review: My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy [Kanye West] [91/100]

While being one of the most ambitious and interesting projects of hip-hop, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is a personal view of incidents that Kanye was part of, making his music a way to imply the power of the public over an artist and how it affects him. My second review: good kid, m.A.A.d. city [Kendrick Lamar] [96/100]

Kendrick innovates on one of the most important and well done projects of hip-hop history. His talent at telling us stories in such a way that connects the listener to the world the rapper is projecting is unique. With one of the best flows in the game, it's hard to deny the natural talent he has to connect with the beats, those which are also well mixed and totally amazing, combining in such a way that makes his music seem ... read more

My first review: Blonde [Frank Ocean] [85/100]

Amazing album, but i would say that it lacks of some aspects that would make this project perfect. Even though Frank's an lyrical genius and know damn well how to express feelings through his music, his lyrics feel repetitive and a little tiring in a way that they seem to insist on a situation by forcing different views on it. Also, the beat sometimes is too plain and simple and the production at all seen to be basic and tiring. The mixing is ... read more
