"to love me is to suffer me"
For context, I listened to this album for the first time on a mountain in Iceland which resulted in potentially the most cathartic musical experience I've ever had the pleasure of having so if my score is inherently biased, that's why.
Ethel Cain has for quite some time now been one of my favorite artists to shine in the 2020's. "Preacher's Daughter" from 2022 was one of, if not my favorite record to come out that year, ... read more

"REDSTAR WU & THE WORLDWIDE SCOURGE" feels like a return to form, juggling ... read more
My GOATs aren't washed!!

"You Forgot It In People" is one of my favorite albums of all time - not only a pioneer of the early 2000's indie rock sound that influenced artists for decades to come, but also a wildly inventive, whimsical, experimental approach to the tried and true genre at the time. With that being said, I've never tapped into any of their other records. To be honest, it's an intimidating task. I ... read more
