Idk what to feel about this album. It's very inconsistent and even the highs are not that high cause while the writing is incredible I don't like his flows and the melodic part are also not well executed. It lacks the song like Family Ties or 16.
The biggest pros are obv writing and the production was incredible with perfect use of samples to highlight the message of the songs.

Incredible highs, wish the album was more consistent. Cole's delivery and lyricism is absolutely perfect and accompanied with the amazing production it creates a beautiful album. I'm can't fucking wait for The Fall-Off.

That's why I never (except The Fall-Off) have expectations for any album. This is a good listen with some amazing songs but there are a lot of songs that sound basically the same with a generic trap beat and a good Rocky verse so nothing outstanding. I feel like the album was worth the wait (maybe not this much wait) and that it might be a grower for me.
