People over hate on this LP because they expect the Tame Impala of 5-15 years ago. It’s not the same, at all, which is great and makes a very refreshing listen. Aside from “Not My World” feeling slightly off from the rest of this LP, he’s done a great job of incorporating a completely new more mellow and modern sound into his discography.
Best songs: Obsolete, Piece Of Heaven, Dracula
“Worst” songs: Not My World, Ethereal Connection, End Of Summer
The album isn't much of anything special; the songs are your typical pop songs, but it does its genre well as an acoustic pop album. Troubles Waters, Carry You Home, and Before You Leave Me are all energy-filled songs that I believe most people could vibe to.
