This is peak, im not even 100% sure if its connected to the obed edom band members or not, but honest to god this is peak.

1. Fruit
"Chewed up, spit out"
Definetly a far cry from what I expected from these guys but the vocalist is incredible and compliments the slowcore kinda poppy sound, here especially
9/10

2.i guess

Worst songwriting ive heard in ages.

Not bad for a first ep from a band ive never heard of. Vocals are iffy on most of the spoken word bits, its rough in other areas too, just not as noticeable.
Mixing is pretty much what id expect and its fine.

First and last track dont land for me, but they're solid.
White dog is straight peak

The album has a fantastic start, but as it goes on I find it having a harder and harder time justifying its own existence. Where there's incredible riffs (zero) there's that same riff played slightly differently 3 other times, each one offering diminishing returns. The 3 or 4 7+ minute tracks turn into a goddamn chore to listen to.
Another major issue, specifically one that plagues the second half of this record is.. billy corgan and his nazally fucking voice. I swear hes just ... read more
