it’s better but it’s still like. not cooking. let’s blame scooter braun
REALLY FLIPPIN GOOD!!! perfectly constructed light rock. even the stranger production choices really keep up the mood. please listen to this ❤️
deco*27 is pretty infamous for making the same song over and over again, and it's no different here. the stand out here is 'dscf'; 'Delusional Sentimental Compensation Federation'; which almost feels like it pays tribute to deco's early career electronica masterpiece, 'crime and punishment'. the rest turns into a bit of vocapoprock sludge, made to fill out any vocaloid playlist without sounding bad, but it ends up being endlessly uncomment worthy. 'find the light' and 'at' are the slower songs ... read more
absolutely insane debut title btw

in my discog dive into stayc it seems pretty consistent that their single will bring down any house, and the b-sides feel like they were just picked off a shelf of 25 dollar song writers. it makes my overall score look kind of mean actually…
enjoyable but unnoteable entry into the kpop “mini-album” era. the main single run2u is laced with crack, and butterfly is a really well composed and performed rnb track, but that’s the extent of interest here.
stayc in their “bad in a boring way music played at the water park’s wave pool in 2010” bag!!!

cmten’s debut is a little worse than mid; there’s a really great grasp on what makes music catchy and addictive, but not much structure or theory. it feels amateur, especially the more hyperpop leaning tracks. my favorites here are the darker sounds. “sorry, i don’t get what you’re saying” feels borderline idm and it’s my favorite track here. a lot of potential here though!

everything about this song feels so delicately crafted, which makes the bombastic production so shocking. the horns are fantastic. “tastes like vegetables i don’t like” and “i hate the alarm clock i chose” are these small meaningless issues that feel amplified by the weight of the lyrics of carrying everyone’s expectations upon you. it’s a profoundly human song for the goofy anime character fighting game.

fine of course! just feels a bit like playlist filler. the songs that kick kick hard. i always thought only ones who know was a really weird pick to flip the vinyl on…
one of my favorite rv mini albums, queendom is a smash and all the b-sides are strong enough to stand on their own. polished contemporary rnb, red velvet’s modern specialty 🤍
honestly, nothing here except for the smash ai wo tsutaetaidatoka (86). shishamo with none of the fun.
definitely needed to pull out the individual song ratings and averaging calculator for this one. the sheer number of all time favorite beatles songs on here is great, but the filler tracks feel completely unfinished. that bitter taste is a part of the beatles at this time, their sideways leaning wilt, but it’s still hard to swallow.
