amazing 10/10 album no notes.
on that note.
this was the first time i've EVER listened to car seat headrest, and ive been told twin fantasy is a good place to start, so here i am.
my boy felt so deeply personal and touching and was a super strong start to the album. i really have no further comments on it because by the time i articulated anything in my head, beach life-in-death started. and holy SHIT am i glad that it started. the whole song is amazing. i cant compose my thoughts on it ... read more
i dont listen to that much midwest emo / emo rock etc but this felt so good to listen, its really feel good which isnt that common for it's genre which is really cool to see
its an amazing song but i most definitely prefer how theyve been playing it live, still a banger though
i desperately hope that this sound doesnt reflect on the whole album. the instrumentation is pretty great too much, it feels kinda dodgy on the end but overall its great! but that goddamn autotune. it STILL feels off pitch
amazing debut, the brass works in really really well, which isnt too typical for indie rock and everything feels pretty consistent
i love this ep a lot, 7x9 and victim, the two new releases from the ep both feel fun in different ways, 7x9 is more so on just the whimsical love song side and victim does a really good job at telling a story without dropping from their normal style
evil evil evil end to the EP, its all happy and upbeat and then they throw infatuated at you, and then straight into cherophobe without any break. all of it slaps though, infatuated feels sosososo personal its incredible
madeleine duet is incredible but epilogue is poor ☹️ the rests not reallly that memorable to me, thank god this is the last time they used this naming scheme and didnt call CWHOS Album Kid
its fun and great easy listening but once again nothing except for like the horn solo in premier inn and break jump out at me that much (and that naming scheme is still there)
all of the songs are good but nothing jumps out to me that much bar madeleine because of its slower pace, its great for easy listening but dont look too deep into it
better than good kid 1 and i do like how they tried something new with pox, slingshot and drifting are bangers
banger album as is, the three extra tracks, being cheesecake french press and belt loops, just make it even better. belt loops, despite being a cover, absolutley blew me away, they did an amazing job on that
i really really like it but it feels like they limited themselves to like 2 minutes a track and that ruins it a little bit for me, they did some more experimental stuff with the likes of eastside and rift, and even on the opposite end with ghost keeper. coffee and cicada are two absolute bangers though, all of the music is great to listen to, i just wish the album was a little longer
this ep does an incredible job and shows how much better the band had gotten since Breaking in Brooklyn. every song feels like it adds something and overall comes together so well
i love love love this ep so much its just pure fun indie rock, it just works really well.
dandelion dial tone and i dont mind are 3 fantastic songs that ive blasted on loop too many times to count
its been a week, and ive listened to this sososo much more, its genuinely all bangers for me, probably the fastest ive ever gotten hooked on an ep
