Oddie Strangeluv - Something Light
74

Oddie Strangeluvs best album to date for sure
really liked this project and im hoping to revisit it a lot in the upcoming weeks
productions great except for maybe chanel that shit just ripped off the frank ocean song with barely any changes
fav song: INSIDE

A$AP Rocky - Don't Be Dumb
66

after giving it a day to stir this is just pretty mediocre with a few nice songs around the album.
similar to testing this is an experimental album thats all over the place however atleast testing had rocky sounding interesting with really really nice beats like hundred and guns n butter.
This is worse than testing and the singles HEAVILY CARRIED this project. Theres only around 2 or 3 great songs in here that arent the singles like stole ya flow and dont be dumb / trip baby and to be honest ... read more

[Chorus: Westside Gunn]
Ayo, you ever ate burgers on a Wednesday? (Wednesday)
You ever ate chicken on a Thursday? (Thursday)
Flygod the illest nigga, per se (Per se)
Pardon my motherfuckin' wordplay (Ayo)

Left out that fed cell, did the impossible, incomparable

Wait, What Did You Say? - Stay Safe, Little One.
74

the most garage sounding indie rock ive heard in quite a while.
the instrumentation is great and the vocals are whiny but in a good listenable way
this could grow on me but for now this is definitely a solid album.

Vylet Pony - Creature Man
91

THIS IS SO GOOD WTF
im reallt excited for this upcoming project bro
insanely catchty and just really soothing on the ears

Premo Rice - A Night at the Chateau
88

probably the holy grail of (somewhat) modern g-funk that larry and jay worthy been doing for a bit
this album is suitable for almost anytime the production is smooth funky and really fun
premo does his shit on this perfectly the hooks are also great
aye jae is alright on this but larry junes the real good feature on this (even tho yk its a larry june feature)
premo rice proves yet again hes better than all the other g-funk chill rap goons like jay worthy and larry june (he not touching ... read more

Sickboyrari - Posted Where the Scarecrows Play
49

genuinely terrible album asides from maybe two tracks
how tf do u drop the ball this hard kray last album was pretty good but this is just major ASS
krays delivery is dogshit his autotune is dogshit the beats majority of the time are dogshit
if you were to get anything from this album id only grab county line and yamz
yikes
fav song: County Line

Michael Lamarche - Kintsugi
62

thank you for recommending me this michael
the production here is honestly really nice its repetitive but in a good way the synths the drums the 808s.... you basically have this nailed down!
however the biggest issue is the vocals, they are VERY rookie-like and could use some autotune or you could just sound a little more enthusiastic or exciting.
but overall a pretty nice little ep!

82

lazygods best project in a while for sure
production is really good (as most lazygod projects)
theres a suprising amount of recognizable features here and theyre all great shoutout christ dillinger even tho hes ass
overall really happy lazygods growing and cant wait to see him blow up or sum
fav song: Nun 2 Sum

neva pray - Ygna Gorte
82

great electronic album with biig elysia crampton (e+e) influence and i lowkey love it

El Café Atómico - Bruxismo en la Familia
89

aoty already dropped early huh
this is just a pretty long trippy ride of post punk and psychedelic folk (thanks rym) and its just super great
this just feels like spanish ritual music and i honestly kinda love it
favorite song: Los gringos

Totojira - Shinigami X
71

ive been a bit aware of toto already and this project id say is quite better than PANDEMONIUM
the production is soulful and just great and the rappings cool majority of the features do their thing except for a few maybe that just had a bad flow or some mid bars.
overall great project as my first 2026 review!
favorite song: Outside
edit 76 to 71 it grew off me the rappings not as great as i remember the production does carry most of the time but not to take away of the bars

al.divino - PASTORE
93

ill work on my review later but DAMN
uncs still got it!
fav song: SMACKUPUNCTURE

redveil - sankofa
89

man this is so good the growth of redveil has to be looked at!
as the other reviews say, this is definetly redveils deepest project lyrical wise and the production is phenomenal in almost every track
fuck smino dudes boring af
i dont have too much to say about this its just a complete experience you gotta check out this is definetly better than the mckinley dixon album for me.
favorite song: Lone Star

Niontay - Soulja Hate Repellant
86

personally, almost as good as niontays last album.
coming from the sleek sound of fada niontay decides to go everywhere with the production we got plugg, cloud rap, ur usual soul hip hop, chopped and screwed and its all just so good on the ears man this production is addicting.
niontay also decides to experiment a bit with autotune here which is okay i guess it dosent really add anything but its something to mention.
also earl feature was so good i just know that stepteam or plugg earl album ... read more

Nas - Light-Years
67

accidentally lost my old review i was writing sooooo
nas still drops great bars throughout the album, premo has two or three good beats and rest just feels like 90s hiphop slop with a tinge of being ai generated.

please bring back interesting production back to hip hop.
fav song: Boquet

Dove Ellis - Blizzard
86

very sweet warm record here i really liked this
the production is warm and easy on the ears and the vocals are just beautiful man.
I dont have too much to say about this but id say give it a try its wonderful!
favorite song: Love Is

Los Thuthanaka - Los Thuthanaka
95

love this album reminds me a ton of some great memories with family n friends.
the production is amazing the percussion is repetitive but it will always work for this cumbia style production the album has for most of the length run and the sound effects are fun.
Im really mad i didnt review this a LOT earlier.
Favorite song: Huayno Phuju

MAVI - The Pilot
86

a short but intriguing album with some production that ive never heard mavi dabble on and I fuck with it so much.
i havent really come back to the last album mavi dropped but this one definetly will have me coming back its just a little early christmas gift for me thank you mavi.
favorite song: Silent Film

Vic Spencer - Show & Prove, Not Back & Forth
70

Some really nice drumless and boom bap production that reminds me of prime nicholas craven (around shot clock king 1 and 2 with fahim id say)
vic does his thing and theres a few misses here but most songs are nice
