forgot to review FUCK
my quick thoughts from when i heard this fully:
love the r&b jazz components from this jill has a great voice and i really like the parts where shes rapping
gonna listen to this a lot more now but this was a very nice jazz rap r&b blend album.
a long journey this was but this is a pretty cool album
sideshow being a 10k signee means this projects gonna be abstract hip hop with a crap ton of plugg and trap influence that i love from 10k global.
pretty enjoyful listen so ill rank the discs real quick for me:
1 disc 3
2 disc 1
3 disc 2
4 disc 4
finally some good fuckin food
this short album is a great blend of both of these artists rapping styles and beat selections mixed nicely into a neat package.
kill nicholas craven. (on a real note he had a nice beat on like biggie did but only one SUCKS)
if i were to say something bad is maybe rome just not being able to adjust his flow too well on certain tracks.
fav song: Tricky
baby keem drops an ehhh album after a 5 year wait with three great tracks and some decent tracks.
the influence kendrick has on keem in this project is kinda cool atleast.
the production is very west-coast in certain songs and the rest just being heavily trap influenced or just kinda sounding like shit.
This album has some cool highs
fav song: I am not a lyricist
great metal album not too sure why everyones scoring it so highly tho this is my first time with this band soooo
really good intro to them for me!
favorite song: Bad Faith
GAWD DAYUM πππ
brent EASILY drops his best album to date no bullshit no filler just 33 minutes of instrumental and vocal bliss
this project is beautiful i needed this thank you brent
fav song: pure fantasy
A really great industrial/noise project
im honestly suprised billy woods was on this but that was a nice treat.
fav song: Dodecahedron
welcome back aldivino
(aldivino IS back lol just saying theres very similar aspects i love that artists like ba pace aldivino and a few others have used amazingly)
beats are great rapping is really great this projects gonna grow hard af on me
fav song: Greats
was excited since its a collab to some of his best albums ever but then i realized its modern tha god fahim.
its average with a handful of boring tracks
fav song: Antennas
edit 68 to 71
this definetly grew on me a little bit theres more songs i can stand now
honestly ANYTHING is better after his last “album” which was basically just demos and bullshit with the singles being only the real songs. Basically a cash grab.
Joji continues the demos sadly with him having only like 8-9 real tracks in here with the rest being demos and him just showing off his vocals.
however atleast these songs and demos are a LOT better than the ones from his last project.
fav song: DYKILY
jcole drops a decent boring uninteresting project with barely any variety in production sucks to say this is such an ehhhh project to end his career on but sure i guess????
also no features (barely) did this album more harm than good
uncs still got it π―π―π―π―
real note im somewhat intrigued on the fall off ill bump that once it drops
great great great bars and some chilly beats
i was pretty surprised to actually hear some nice big ghost ltd beats in this new mickey diamond and big ghost collab.
these beats are great with mickey diamond doing his usual and overall it was a very nice listen
big ghost comeback???? probably not but this was good ghost!!!
also love me some new mickey diamond (sometimes)
fav song: B22
started off pretty good around the first 5 tracks then dipped with atm and calabasas but then it came back with rosary and then everything and i mean EVERYTHING after that was just a pure snoozefest not even sahbabii could save his own track
overall i got some quality that wasnt on hardstone but it just goes on for too long
this is one of my very few interactions with injury reserves music so this is definetly not a perfect intro to them but after doing some research on them and this project i understood this project a lot more.
i was a bit skeptical in the start with the intro just not being too interesting to me but every other track really hit nicely
the production is an industrial serene haunting sound that i just really love and the lyrics are haunting as well with many callbacks to the person in this group ... read more
feels like hotn1ks just digging through his ass looking for some viral underground hit song ever since his first mixtape POP (really good).
dude also just knows less and less Spanish after every drop like ur career just started how u now making music that sounds like you sold out loloolol weed420 please save this man
roc still got a sharp pen but with very laid back classic production done completely by him and its a nice warm album.
only a few meh songs like yves and childish things but everything else is pretty solid see this is what happens when you dont give the production to alchemidst.
fav song: Melo
i’ll admit i kinda dozed off during the final 3 tracks but this was a soothing strong listen thank you ethel cain.
ill come back to this during walks and it might grow on meee
