Demon Days has some absolute bangers, but also some misses.
It has that bite to it that only exists on Gorillaz’ older albums, and it’s clear they knew what they were doing.
Every song carries a unique identity, and the features are used to their fullest on every track.
Demon Days also has some of the best Gorillaz songs, but the album falls apart a bit at the end, and has some lesser songs mixed in throughout.
My favourites are:
Feel Good Inc (obviously)
November Has Come
El Mañana
DARE (again, obviously)
